Understanding first, writing second, clarity always.

Content Strategy & Briefs

Before anything gets written, we work out what actually needs to exist — which pages, which topics, in what order, and why. A content strategy without this step is just a to-do list of blog titles. We build the map first: audience, search intent, business priority, and how each piece connects to the next.

Process

How we approach it

Business & offer discovery

What you sell, to whom, and what makes you different.

Existing content audit

What's working, what's outdated, what's missing.

Search intent & keyword mapping

Matched to buyer stage, not just volume.

Topic and page architecture

How pieces relate and link to each other.

Detailed content briefs

Angle, structure, entities, sources, internal links, CTA.

Editorial calendar and priority sequencing

What gets written first, and why.

Tools we use

Toolset

Google Search Console, Ahrefs / Semrush, content audit spreadsheets, internal linking maps, editorial calendar tools.

Why RankSpheres

What makes this different

Each recommended content asset is mapped to a business purpose, audience need, search intent and stage of the customer journey, with a clear brief before writing begins.

Who this is for

Right fit

Businesses planning more than a handful of new pages, or anyone who keeps generating topic ideas with no sense of priority or how the pieces connect.

Who this isn't for

Not the right fit

A single, already-scoped page just needs a brief, not a full strategy engagement — see the question below.

What you get

Deliverables

  • An audience and search-intent map tied to buyer stage
  • A topic and page architecture showing how each piece connects to the next
  • Individual content briefs — angle, structure, entities, sources, internal links, CTA — for each priority piece
  • An editorial calendar with what gets written first, and why
FAQs

Common questions

Do I need a strategy if I just want a few pages written?

For a handful of pages, a lighter version of this (built into the project brief) is usually enough — full strategy work is worth it once you're planning more than 5–10 pieces.

Will this include a keyword list?

Yes, but keywords inform the strategy — they don't replace audience and business understanding.

Do you write the content too, or just the strategy?

Both, if you want — the strategy can hand off to our own writing work, or to your team or another writer with a brief clear enough to follow without us.
